11/28 Game Thread, Capitals @ Canes 1:00PM

Welp another Carolina sports double stack at 1:00PM. Split screen it is.

No lineup posted. Not sure if Bear will be back today or if he’s still covid, I’d almost rather have smith for this game in case gloves hit the ice. No practice or media time yesterday or this morning listed but I assume Rod will do a 2 minute before game time. I assume Freddie will be in net. I’d much prefer our best line combos though, none of this funky stuff Rod has been running recently. 
 

Eller sounds like he’ll be back for the Caps. Here are their practice lines from yesterday.

Sitting here at Bru’s Public House waiting for the game. Huge early season matchup, I hope we shut them down, I hate DC.

After rod’s pregame, Freddie in net, Bear still in quarantine. No divination as far as lines yet.

Dang I didn’t realize it was a 1pm start. We are cursed with 1 PM puck drops, we barley beat the worst team in the NHL last time.

I see Aho took his smelling salts this morning.

Keep Martinook on the 4th. His chemistry with Lorentz is so good. Too bad Martinook couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn most games though.
