7-9, 4-12, 2-14 (records for the other teams in the NFCW).

bears, cowboys, jets, bucs (other teams that were 9-7 last year).

11-5 (record of the pats who did not make it into the playoffs).

8-8 (record of the chargers who did make it to the playoffs but they were the turd that barely floated to the top of that toilet bowl division).

The Jets game will be the deciding game for me. If they play inspired football, and better yet win the game, I can see winning 8 this year. If they play like they've given up, then we might see 6 wins (I'm putting down the Tampa game as a win regardless, and then one more in there somewhere, "the any given Sunday" factor).

i cant stop players from playing piss poor, neither can you.

until the can win 2 games in a row they can kiss my ass- this team is GREAT AT ONE THING

BOdy slamming the fans face 1st into the ground just when we have a glimmer of hope.

Well, can't say I didn't feel that way after the last game.

But as I said before, my definition of declaring the season over is: Mathematically eliminated = season over. I've always followed that regardless of how the team is playing or not. If someone doesn't like that way of thinking, too bad.

    • You talk about keeping the shtshow alive and well in Pantherland just bring in Prime and Shedeur....
    • Elite QBs are made and need a team to work around them or you end up with a Phillip Rivers situation, at best.  Sometimes the QB is just the missing piece, or the QB finds the other factors that lift their game. You couldn't ask for a better example of both of those situations than looking at the Stafford/Goff trade between LA and Detroit. Send either of those two guys to Carolina or Cleveland and they just flop around on the turf near the 35 yard line, game after game. And as to the Texans and Commanders... those are two well coached and well-built teams. Massive turnarounds in each location, a lot of buy in by players and grabbing solid performers where they could. They got their QBs, but they also put them in the right environment. You claim I'm a 1990s football guy, I claim you're basing your evaluation more on Madden and fantasy football.
