Serious question. Why did we go get Gilmore

Dudes been here for at least a month now. I know damn well he has a understanding of the defense by now. He is elite at what he does, he’s a difference maker. Why the hell did it take until the second half for him to be glued to Washington best receiver? At this point I wouldn’t be mad if he walked this off season bc of the silly coaching.

A lot of people wanted to defend Jackson for some reason.

Because we gave up a 6th for him and no matter how he plays, his next contract if it isn't from us will net us a 5th round comp pick. Either we get a big win with him playing great this year for a 6th, or we get a minor win in the draft and move up a few spots.
