Rhule Has No Idea What He Is Doing

He was indecisive and wasted a timeout because he was unsure of what to do in that situation. Not a good look coming from your head coach.

Honestly, even worse... I think he let the booing of the fans as the punter was trotting out change his mind. I think the change of mind was the right call but had the boos not rained down I honestly think they would've gone through with the punt.

I just think Rhule and company are in over their heads. Seeing them out-coached by Ron Rivera cemented that for me.

They had a off day.. But again how is the defense a finished product when this is the 1st year in a long time they've been good and you basically rebuilt it 2 years ago...

When you've spent virtually all of your resources for two straight years on one side of the ball it better be pretty damn close to a finished product.

So pretty dam close isn't being the 2nd ranked defense most of the season??

The Cowboys got blanked by the Broncos.. Does that mean there offense sucks??

Or was it just 1 game..

Just look at the scores of our games this season. The only time the defense has shutdown offenses came against banged up teams on 2nd and 3rd string QBs. The Saints was ok… but really think that offense took a major hit going from Brees to Winston.

Let's put thos into perspective.. The Eagles just blasted the Saints.. They barely could move the ball against us..

The Defense just picked a bad day to not show up.  IM still encouraged because the offense looked better and more then not this year this defense has shown up...

You know it probably wouldn’t have mattered but you punt late there with 3 timeouts and the two min warning.  That was the wrong move clearly.  Down 3 at the time

Not with the way our defense just gave up like a 7 or 8 minute drive for them to take the lead. Going for it on 4th and 4 with Cam and CMC is the right call, we just have retarded coaches who don’t call a route past the sticks.

The Eagles. The Saints, Falcons,  were fully intact offensives..

And the Carnidals team right now is putting up Points on the Seahawks when they could to us..

And also let's remember most of the season this defense was getting little to no help from the offense like the Pat's game where they set up Sam 2x to score...

We have a glaring weakness that we evidently can't fix. Not sure this ranking is going to hold. Especially if the offense can continue to be a threat forcing teams to actually try to score and not just play it safe knowing Darnold can't beat them.

What is glaring?? Most of the season this defense has been top 5 level.. 3 games out of 11 they got beat up in the trenches.. They rarely if ever give up plays of more then 20...

Can we just chill for a minute and take a step back and not let the moment cloud what has been for most of the season??

    • KC has a very good defense this year. It is 5th overall. Yes, still worse than last year, but their offense is considerably worse. Their passing D may be their "weakness" but they still allow fewer than 20 ppg. BY completed several deep passes yesterday, and he was able to threaten downfield in ways he didn't seem capable of before the benching. I'm not necessarily worried about his ability to connect deep anymore. What to me was impressive was that he did all this without a run game. We used the pass to set up what little running success we had. Wild.
    • Solid and fair assessment.   I will say, one of the big things I noticed yesterday was that he wasn't shy to step up into the pocket in the face of pressure.  He's trusting the IOL.  And they took care of Chris Jones yesterday.  We had clean pockets but also good success rate vs. pressure which just hasn't been the case with Bryce.   If he has more confidence the OL gets it done and he can navigate and step up for throws, that's huge.  It's one of the biggest things that's held him back.  He was previously bailing quickly and just too easily throwing away or making dead plays.     He was finding his 2nd to 3rd reads within structure/without bailing in the pocket.  That was nice to see, as much concern I have with him.  And the overall limitations will always be there. Time to back it up this week against the Bucs.
    • Suddenly the Cowgirls look like our best chance for a win remaining. I think the Bucs are playing better than the Falcons of late.  Our lone game versus the dirty birds is in the ATL where we always struggle.  The Cardinals are marginally better than I thought they would be. We are not beating the Eagles, they are starting to roll. I'm saying two at most, next week at home versus the Bucs and the Cowgirls.
