Not true. There have been a few posters that haven't jumped in saying the defense was playoff caliber or the team as a whole for that matter. The majority of fans have said the defense was super bowl worthy or whatever though.

Someone pointed out in the game thread that anytime the Panthers have faced decent to good teams and/or QBs, the defense has been exposed. That's largely true.

With Cam, they can go on a run. Will they, who knows. Probably need to get to 10-7 to make the playoffs since like every tie breaker is unfavorable. The team has life again, not the result we wanted today but there's more hope today than 12 days ago.

Hold up. You think this is the first time the defense hasn’t performed well? We’ve invested heavily there and it still falls apart.
