People forget how good Cam looked in Preseason

People getting way to crazy about this. Let's just enjoy now Cam and not try and build this up to 2015 Cam level. He's a different dude now and yes I'm glad he's back but I also don't expect more than game management.

I really thought about posting a thread on this but Cam has completed 1 pass for 2 yrds.  Lots of false security going on with Cam being here.

The press conference with him was amazingly confusing. What is Cam talking about?

And when I say I love them, what I actually mean is that they can fug directly off and feel free to root for the team formerly known as the Redskins on Sunday and henceforth from now on.

I'm not an alt?

But it's evident ITT. I simply asked a question. Didn't make a statement in the negative about Cam and got poo for it.

That's telling. 

I have no issue with Cam. I have issue with the people here that try to elevate him above the team. That think he is perfect and can't ever do anything wrong.

You have no issues with him other than posting very recently that he "sucks now" is "washed up" and his "arm is shot". But other than that you have no issues with him.

Wow a QB who can manipulate a defense and not stare down his first read. And Peter King is mind blown he's getting paid $6m for half a season to save the franchise. Darnold is so bad at this exact thing we've lost at least 3 games because of it

Cam is an experienced and successful NFL QB with a real box of tools at his disposal, but those two coaches have given him something he couldn't have had before. I think you're forgetting about the first half of 2018 (pre Steelers / Watt).  Go back and watch some of those games.

Norv and Scott coached him up.  His completion percentage jumped way up to a career high.  His TD percentage was the second highest of his career.  He made better decisions.  He ran less.  While his arm wasn't quite 2015, he could still throw lasers when he was set, and with that coaching he was set a lot more often.

Unfortunately TJ Watt happened and he lost a lot of velocity.  That doesn't change the fact that Cam is a much more refined player than he was.  But it didn't start in Foxboro.  It started here.
