Is this Sunday’s game second most anticipated home game in team history?

I would not rate next Sundays game the second most anticipated home game in the teams history, but you can bet your bottom dollar Bank of America Stadium is going to be electric. Former head coach Ron Rivera returning with the Washington Football Team only heightens the level of intrigue.

It’s going to be an occasion that nobody in attendance will forget. And the noise when Cam Newton is introduced will shake the stadium to its foundations.

Where would you rank this home game in terms of anticipation

1) Carolina v Arizona nfc Championship Game

2) Carolina v Washington The king is back

 3) Carolina v Arizona NFC divisional (The night delhomme died)

4) Carolina v Dallas 1996 (Switzers infamous NC Panthers)

5) Carolina v Dallas 2003 (Cardiac Cats)

Not even in the top 10.

all the home playoff games have been more highly anticipated for me. i remember losing my poo for two weeks in the '08 season waiting for that cards game.

regular season? outside of openers in general (and those don't count really because we all just want football back) for me this is definitely the most anticipation. winning in arizona threw fuel on the fire. sunday is gonna be fuggin lit

That game we jumped all over the shithawks 31-0 and almost lost was a big time game given the close games and recent history between the two clubs.

I would say it is for the Cam Nuthuggers. Other than that we have already beat Rivera last year. I mean it's not like him and Cam hated each other. Quite the opposite tbh. Just another game imo that we should win.

I am far from the hugger fan and as soon as we had a feeling he was going to sign last week I was already thinking about this game. Rivera has little to do about it as well as last years game, but add in last weeks win, the new energy, the new hope, it should all around be an exciting game for any Panthers fan.

Not sure why some folks are trying to down play this game. This will be Cam’s first home game since returning to the team for his second stint. Of course it’s going to be big.

His entrance?  Thunderous

His first Superman celebration?   The stadium will move. Along with jimmies all across this land.

    • I think a lot of wrs are going to go in the second round before we pick.  There are a lot of wr needy teams.  I think there will be a big run on them in the late 30s and 40s.
    • Interesting that they met with Walker three times and Cam Jackson twice.
