So people haven't been doing the exact same thing about Darnold all season until Cam came?  How is it different?

There is a huge difference because the majority here were even keeled with a wait and see attitude. You had a few who rode hard for Darnold, and some like myself who were angry about bringing in Darnold with no back up plan. We critiqued as things got uglier. Then some threads started popping up mentioning Cam and other options. People went berserk trashing Cam in those threads and were borderline a lot of things in their presentation. Level headed posters now get to be wait and see with Cam just like others were with Darnold. But the ones that went all in saying Cam was done, can't run, can't throw, selfish, and made fun of his attire are getting told about themselves. Especially the ones who ask for it. If you are a level headed poster, don't ride for a out and out Cam hater cause they are getting what they deserve.

Cam is the spiritual and actual leader of this team. He got the keys to the franchise and everyone needs to get used to that again.

Cam has grown tremendously since he was last here. He's been with arguably the "best(most coddled)" franchise in football.

All the haters, he didn't go to the Jets, Dolphins, Lions or Bengals. He went to a "top notch" organization.

And that franchise/organization had nothing but glowing reviews about him when asked.

That's why he's a HOF lock. He's got fans wishing him well from NE too. THEY drafted a QB in a QB deep draft. He's competent and improving and so is Fields.

Cam was in our destiny that's why those guys aren't here. Totally unintentional but again the universe doesn't care, it only seeks balance.

The Panthers #1 pick has returned back to where it belongs and the universe and NFL fans in general are smiling and happy for him.

I'm not riding for everyone.  I just see a lot of hypocrisy on this board where it's ok to have certain opinions on certain players based on certain things but not other players for the same things or you are a hater.

You're a mod here?  You definitely seem to be letting your emotions and love for Cam get the best of you.  It's ok for people to not be sold on Cam.  He was on a decline the last we saw him, he has had multiple nagging injuries and he was sitting at home last week.  The same as it is ok for the people who constantly bashed Darnold or PJ, or any other qb we have had since Cam that you have agreed with.  Stop taking questions about Cam's current potential level of play as personal attacks.

What? I simply did what he asked. He asked me to show him posts where he was unhappy that Cam is playing for us. Based on the opinions he had stated multiple times (those were literally the first search options searching his posts for "Newton") I think it's very fair to extrapolate that he's not happy Cam is suiting up for us. That is unless he has changed his mind and now thinks that a washed up QB with a shot arm (his words, not mine) is a good thing to have.

If they aren't on the team they are the enemy.

I hate Tom Brady ass as the enemy but would love him if he signed with us.

Once anyone leaves unless they retire they become the enemy

Jake to Cleveland

Smitty to Baltimore

Moose to Chicago

He is on my team. He can help us. If he's pre Watt level we have a good chance.

Even if he never gets past an inside the 30s QB he helps us.

    • NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
    • The bottom lines to me are that a) we played well enough to beat the best team in the league and b) Bryce Young is growing into a bridge QB role (his ceiling) for us. As much as I don't want BY around after the season, it seems DC can still build the O with a game manager at QB for now. Best case scanario, we can build the D through the draft this year and take a QB we have conviction outside the 1st this or next draft. If BY keeps improving, we are going to win a couple more games this year.
    • Bryce has been a completely different QB since coming back. That started in Denver where it was obviously he was playing a lot more loose and willing to push the ball downfield  Bryce continues to build off of the previous weeks performance and that’s what you want to see Bryce has been making some real good anticipation throws. Reading defenses well. Pushing the ball downfield (7 throws of 20+ air yards yesterday. 8 if you want to include PI to Thielen). The deep ball accuracy has been there. Some of Young’s best throws yesterday were incompletions. Sideline balls to XL and Moore both should’ve been caught. RZ dot to Tremble should’ve been caught. And another RZ ball to Moore that Young gave him a chance at. Bryce is starting to execute Canales offense and yesterday Canales finally opened it up a bit. Canales was to blame for the 126 passing yards in Germany as he played a more conservative game.  The next bit I’m looking for his for Young to be a bit more decisive with running the ball. Start putting that on film and it’ll help open things up a tad
