I've never seen a QB have more intentional grounding penalties in my life....that and then him just chucking the ball into someones feet, or spazzing out and just throwing it up.  Hes truly a terrible QB.  Something in his head is broken and I don't think it can be fixed easily.

The amazing thing was that he somehow got worse here. Which, even to those of us that knew it was a huge mistake to acquire him, doesn't make me feel good about our staff and their ability to develop a young QB. Don't get me wrong, I realize Darnold was beyond hope but you would still think he'd be a LITTLE better than last season.

It was extreme hubris on the side of Rhule and Brady.  They really thought they could magically fix him and turn him into a franchise QB.

I'm not scared of NO.  By the time we play them they could very well be under .500.  They've got all kinds of issues at the QB position.  Trevor Siemen doesn't scare anybody. Especially not our defense.

Yeah. The fact they are afloat is a tribute to how good their pillhead coach is.

And we beat them at their prime. I hope Cam is hitting on all cylinders by that game. I would LOVE to go down to Nawlins and get the brooms out on those bitches.

Had we had Cam all season we’d be something like 8-2 right now. No cap.

To play devils advocate here, this almost works out better. Would you rather be 8-2 with Cam after 10 games worth of physical play, maybe some bumps and minor injuries? Or would you take where we are at this exact moment with Cam fresh as a cucumber ready to come in and take on the world? Not only that but a lot of the current top teams seem to have peaked early and are coming back down. It feels like with the return of a healthy CMC and a 100% Cam we are doing our season in reverse, getting healthy and hot at the right time.

Yeah, I like it.  You're right.  We're sitting here at .500 and now its going to be a mad sprint to the finish.  We can still easily win 10 games.

part of me thinks you don't change what's working.

he's definitely a good insurance policy though. Bouye and Gilmore are older, and I still can't believe Jackson hasn't gotten hurt. Every morning I expect to wake up and read he's been attacked by raccoons or something

it’s his contract year…he completely understands the game now and is no longer injury prone

They love Sam, and PJ nobody talks about the disaster before any of them even before Jimmy you can't be excited about what's about to happen when Jake was the biggest let down ever!!

    • i think i go in the opposite direction of most. my ideal retirement is living in some old downtown area in a flat above some shop or something.  life out in the country was just something i got real tired of. My kids actually miss some of living out there, which i understand. that was where they grew up for the most part. 40 acres with a 2.5 acre pond. it was beautiful, but also way too much (and too expensive) for me to keep up with.
    • FLASHBACK: I remember back when ESPN was just starting--he was their anchor.  They used to show stuff like Rodeo and field hockey--I remember laughing when he went to a commercial mocking a cycling competition in Utah (or something similar--I made that up) and I laughed.  I told my dad, "We may have us a new anchor when we get back from commercial."  When they came back from commercial, Berman was looking very serious and he said, "Any comments by me do not reflect the views of ESPN....The men and women who cycle are dedicated athletes and we are honored to shine light on their sport." (Paraphrasing).  Dad laughed hysterically. My first memory of him--and that was like 1980.
    • Might not have a team without them. Although that probably applies to the Panthers, too.
