The past regime was in a way intimidated by Cam. They always tip toed around him out of an abundance of fear of upsetting him. They had no idea how to deal with a star of his caliber from day one.

It certainly explains a lot of the suspected issues from Cam's first stint. One of Ron's SOP was to be way too hands off. I know it takes a delicate balance but there really didn't seem much more than hands off from his regime. 

Communication is always important, I really hope they use this to improve the organizations functionality. People not being able to talk and going elsewhere starts a lot of drama and stress in most jobs, I can't imagine it being more fun at the NFL level. 

Good on Tepper, he is new as far as owners can go, but that's a great move by him.

To simplify this, it sounds like Cam just wants the organization to be real with him. To be fair, I could see how this could be hard; especially if you’ve never dealt with an individual with a big personality like Cam.

The whole Tepper edited Newton out of a banner BS is funny as poo now. Within days we bring him back and now we hear about Tepper keeping his number from being used.

I would assume it's from the previous staff as the current staff would have had little to no in person contact with Cam.

Most likely but also possibly always had intentions of bringing Cam home where he belongs if Darnold continued shitting the bed
