We have bad DC, OC, An average coach, and a horrible QB, only 1 Good WR (mush is mad old) a horrible D-Line, a kicker that is a billion years olds, cornerbacks that couldn't tackle me......the list goes on. I said it back in the PRESEASON that our run defense was garbage, and that we should fire Ron Meeks....Our lack of depth at WR is embarrassing. Dwayne Jarret couldn't catch swine flu....we need to blow this team up completely, and that includes letting Julius "1 million dollars a game to get owned by Jake Long" Peppers go...we shouldn't release Jake, but we have to look elsewhere. Matt Moore isn't the answer. We don't need Drew Brees, or Peyton Manning, but we do need someone that doesn't make me cringe and hold my breath everytime he drops back to throw....*sighs*..

i disagree that we should blow everything up and start from scratch... one of the things that would make a coaching job at Carolina attractive to any potential suitors would be the fact that most of the pieces are already in place. we have way too much talent to just burn it all down.

    • You talk about keeping the shtshow alive and well in Pantherland just bring in Prime and Shedeur....
    • Elite QBs are made and need a team to work around them or you end up with a Phillip Rivers situation, at best.  Sometimes the QB is just the missing piece, or the QB finds the other factors that lift their game. You couldn't ask for a better example of both of those situations than looking at the Stafford/Goff trade between LA and Detroit. Send either of those two guys to Carolina or Cleveland and they just flop around on the turf near the 35 yard line, game after game. And as to the Texans and Commanders... those are two well coached and well-built teams. Massive turnarounds in each location, a lot of buy in by players and grabbing solid performers where they could. They got their QBs, but they also put them in the right environment. You claim I'm a 1990s football guy, I claim you're basing your evaluation more on Madden and fantasy football.
