Keep Pounding sure isn’t dead to Cam

The Panthers games had become a miserable experience lately. Even if Cam doesn't play great I'm just happy to see him back. This season was going to be merciless if something didn't change. I said in a previous thread "why not Cam?" before the announcement, and the answer is is here.

I've been on so many rollercoaster rides through the ups and downs of this franchise over the past 25 years.

I still don't know if anything compares to this past week...

I am as die-hard as they come, but the Patriots game almost sucked the last of my Panthers fandom out of me.

Nothing could have been more redemptive than the last week.

KEEP FUGGING POUNDING!!

    • I've not been one to bet on games before, but I've been tempted to dip my foot in the water.  Is this the week to do it?  If so, what's the groupthink on best bet?  My gut says KC will certainly cover the spread, but the Panthers are just as likely to let me down in betting as they are on the field.  So I don't know.
    • What the hell is going on in this crazy world we all live in?  OK, maybe the intro was too dramatic, but look at the plight of some established QBs on huge mega deals: 24.  Aaron Rodgers  50.7 QBR 25. Dak Prescott 47.4 26. Daniel Jones 47.0 31. Derek Watson 22.4 Meanwhile, unloved stocks with much lower salaries when signed who have busted on their previous teams are outperforming these guys making $50m or so a year: 10. Derek Carr 61.5 14. Jared Goff  59.1 18.  Baker Mayfield 56.4 19.  Sam Darnold 55.5 https://www.espn.com/nfl/qbr So if these 4 retreads are outperforming 4 QBs getting paid bank, what does that say about the market?  I should add that the top 9 QBs were drafted by their current teams--and three of them were not picked in the first 30 picks of their respective drafts--one was Mr. Irrelevant.  Three were first overall picks. Interesting note:  Cousins is ranked 15th, and he got pulled for the Falcon's first round rookie on Sunday.  I realize that there are many ways to evaluate a QB, but here were some shockers:  CJ Stroud is #20.  Jayden Daniels (love him) is ranked #5 and Drake Maye is #12.  Caleb Williams is #27.  For some unexplained reason, Bryce was not listed.
