I think it would benefit Sam. But I think the fans have turned on Sam, and I don't think he can win them back. He needs some time as a QB to get his head right. But I don't see him stepping on the field for the Panthers again being met with anything other than boos.

I dont think I have ever seen a QB fall off so badly than Darnold from weeks 1-3 to 4-9

No reason to bash Sam. Guy was a rehab project who got plucked out of a bad situation and dropped right into a worse one. 

I'm stoked for Cam's return, but I'm not going to poo on Darnold.

That's what happens when you take away a guy's security blanket. Losing CMC for those weeks was a fatal blow to whatever hopes we had of rehabilitating Sam, at least this season. I don't think they've given up on him, at least on a developmental level, even if it's just delusional on Rhule's part. Darnold should have gone somewhere he could have held a clipboard for a year or two, not somewhere where he'd be asked to put the team on his fragile shoulders. 

Overall I'm just happy that Cam is back. I believe he can elevate our offense to at least 'mediocre' which is all we really need with our defense.
