We have had barely any high danger shots too.

Also Tampa either picked us according to Tripp(probable) or burned our defense rotation. Either way TDA and Skjei were both in the same spot. That can’t happen.

Does our style of play limit breakaway opportunities and create them for our opponent because I’ve been watching the Canes regularly for 3 years now and it always seems like our opponent has several breakaway opportunities and we have none.

We were a lot better earlier this season.  
 

It’s because we usually play a modified single high, our defense tend to edge up a lot so we tend to have a lot break looks against us. 
 

We have plenty they just aren’t as pronounced usually.
