Probabaly…But he would win more games than PJ Walker and Matt Barkley.

Cam is easily better than all 3 of our QBs combined even if his shoulder is shot. Who signs Matt Barkley lol.

Rhule be like he was a 5 star recruit in college man. We're playing Stanford next week!

Much like your posts. 🖕

But he'd still be better than whatever QB the Panthers acquire off the scrap heap.

Would rather have a top O-Lineman, though.

I mean, you came in here hyping up Sam Darnold and springing to his defense. I'd say you and Matt Rhule have a lot in common, that being you have absolutely zero idea what a good QB looks like.

Wait, he actually tried to get Stafford. So you suck worse.

kids....don't make me pull this car over.

Other Cam + Panthers aside, Let’s just say theoretically Cam accepted Rhules apology and came back. How quickly does our 2+3rd string OL get Cam killed again? I’d put the over/under at half a game.

well - now i'm certain they won't sign Cam.. I was holding out hope but this is just blatant

is it 'spite'? is it 'pride'? idk what to label it as other than 'wrong'..

Rhule didn’t like Cam. They did cam dirty on his release. Legitimately. Why does anyone think Cam would sign back here with Rhule as QB?

You just can’t admit that’s where we are can you? When your starter is Sam Darnold if your back ups aren’t better than him then it might as well be me or you out there.

What are you talking about? You have 3 scrubs behind a scrub. Does it matter which one starts?

Yea that's why I always said thus far that I like Cam too much for this lol.

    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
    • Well, we got our answer on Army today.
    • Not a chance the SEC could compete with the NFL.  In the large cities that are not in the Southeast, (LA, NYC, Chicago, SF) College football is an afterthought.
