Argument against starting Matt Moore...

You people can cast all the aspersions you want on Moore but you don't know ish because all your assumptions are based on John Fox's mistakes. You forget HE is the reason of all our problems right now. Doesn't know what to do with other QBs because he is such a hard headed MF when it comes to taking players out when they are playing badly. If you can't understand that then you're just plain dumb.

Was that lame attempt at an insult really needed? How is it delsuisoanl to think that moore isnt good enough to start? Thats all my argument has been.

I guess well just have diagree about Fox. No where did I say he was a good coach. I just said he wouldnt sacrifise his whole team and job for one player.

That requries some kind of magical undying love for a player that just doenst happen in the Nfl.

See Keary Colbert and Deshaun Foster, nuff said.

Moore sucks because John Fox knows what he has with him and when compared to Delhomme, he sees Jake as the better quarterback. He is a great evaluator of talent and I can trust all of his decisions. In fact, Jake took us to the Super Bowl six years ago. That's more than enough to keep Jake as the quarterback instead of a 2-1 Matt Moore. I mean he really sucks if he can't beat Jake out in practice!!!

Right let ingnore that Fox started:

Peppers

Beason

Gross

Otah

Davis

Gamble

Captian

Godfry

Wharton

Marshall

And that's at the top of my head. Colbert had a great 2004 rookie season. So it was not be unresoable to think he would be good in 2005. He was subpar, and so Fox had him inactive for much of 2006 which would go agiasnt this whole 'love thing'. Foster didnt start till 2006 and was given a year. Willimas was then drafted for insurance but sadly sucked in pass protection. The next offseason Foster was released.

If were going to use Moore 2-1 record of two years ago, then why not use jake record of years ago to. You claim its stupid yet were going to say Moore is better becuae he had a 2-1 record two years ago? Genius

Look at the whole team. O-line, lb, DB, Rb, Dl. Overall Id say Fox more often or not is right about players. I mean would you agree that if we had a average qb at the helm we would be at 2- 4 losses max? If so that goes to the argument he's built a soilid team

When you see a qb for two years of practise and preseaon and tape. Then you proably have a pretty good idea on his talent.

I could care less about Moore's 2-1 record, I just think Moore is closer to an average quarterback than Delhomme is. Hurney has put together a team with a lot of talent, but Fox has been pretty stubborn to stick with veterans past their prime. Jake has publicly came out and said he has questioned his own ability and had "paralysis of analysis" leading to him thinking too much and making mistakes because of it. If Moore is as stupid as some people say and that he doesn't know the playbook, he has a much lower chance of overthinking things like Jake has done time after time.

Since the season is practically over, playoff wise, why not give him a shot and see what a below average quarterback can do in place of a deadbeat quarterback. Moore has never had a chance with Double Trouble, Moose, and some pretty decent tight ends in the starting role. Given the reps throughout the week, he could probably do a decent job of not losing the game.

I dont have a problem starting Moore if where out of the playoffs. However if we still have chance, as a coach, I would start your starter. If we play Moore I have afeeling there will be a game or two that he's needs adjusting. Costing us that very slim chance we have.

If we lose another game or two, by all means start moore.

I knew someone would throw out the whole practice thing. You know who else was really good in practice? Keary Colbert.

I want to hear just one LEGITIMATE reason as to why putting Moore out there would be detrimental at this point. The few times I've seen him, in his starts in '07 he looked more poised than Jake ever has been. People have absolutely no argument period against him until he goes out there with Smitty and Double Trouble and shows us how he can perform with our first stringers.

If however he proves to be worse than Jake(which is nigh impossible) then I will gladly drink a glass of STFU
