Argument against starting Matt Moore...

Recommended Posts

So was Matt Moore. Fox has seen Moore and Mccown for a whole offseaon of practises, presaon tape, film room. Moore had the advatage of playing in the system and extra year. How is it BS? What part of my argument has no logic sence to it? Is it that hard to belive that our third string QB is just bad?

The injury wasnt even season ending.

That you still believe Fox will start the best guy even though he's publicly said he prefers vet QBs. Plus they wanted McCown for a few years now. Fox is just blinded by his own philosophy that vet QBs are the way to go no matter what. Again I ask, how many games has McCown started and won for us?

You think John Fox REALLY evaluates talent at practice once he commits to a player? This is the same guy who started a washed up S.Davis over Foster. Foster over D-Will...Godfrey over Martin. Why are people using Fox to downplay Moore. Fox don't care what the others do in practice, he is committed to the idea that Jake is our starting QB. That's why Moore won't be a true chance.

And you think Fox, an NFL coach, with his job on the line, will not play the best player and risking losses simply because his starting vet has more years playing then his backup vet.

If he love vets so much. Why did he have Moore as the 2nd backup in 2008?

Mccown hasnt won anything here. But how's that an argument? He's been here one year and there hasnt been an oopurutniy to play him. With Moore sevral people got injured so he had a chance.

Moore should start because 95% of Jake's throws are inaccurate. Even throws where the receiver actually manages to catch it are still usually not where they should be thrown.

I don't think Moore is the jesus people are expecting and I don't think he is the future of the franchise, but there is no reason from a fan's perspective that he shouldn't be given a chance to start over

Delhomme.

And how does he commit to that player? Through practise. Maybe Moore isnt given a chance, because maybe he hasnt done anything to derserve it.

Yes!!! It's one of the reasons why Jake is still starting. And its also one of the reasons thats going to get him fired.

Moore was the 2nd back up in 2008 until he got hurt. Then it was McCown. I've already said that.

but if mcown was so great why put him on ir. why not keep him sidelined so he can come back?

Honestly, do you really think delhomme should keep playing?

When did I claim he was great? Why put him on IR? Because he had multilple injuries? Wasting a roster spot?

Delhomme is having a very bad season. And we need to replce him. But I dont bleive anybody on this roster would be any imporvement.

Hard to make that assessment when you havent seen Moore with the first string this year.

I think thats bs. He's knowlingly losing possible wins simply because he loves vets? No. No coach would risk his job, his future, just because he loves one vet over another. I mean wouldnt having a losing season be more threting to his job then having a moore start?

Right but my point is Moore atleast intally was allowed to be the 2nd backup. Which shows Fox despite his " love for vets" let a young one be the 2nd string. Which goes to my argument that it has nothing to do with vets but who's the best and most reiable player.

That's why Fox won't be a coach anymore after this year. They gave Jake the contract this offseason. Fox still loves him. He even called him and said he's sticking with him no matter how bad he stinks it up. Fox is sticking with Delhomme no matter what. Even if it costs us games.

Ive stated before 7 yr vet > 2 yr vet that was hurt the previous season. Thats the way Fox sees it. How many times do I gotta repeat myself.

Look, Im just going around in circles with you now. You obviously still think Fox is a good coach when its obvious he is not. So it's impossible to reason with you. So instead of going around in circles, I'll just let you continue living in your delusional fairy tale land.

Was that lame attempt at an insult really needed? How is it delsuisoanl to think that moore isnt good enough to start? Thats all my argument has been.

I guess well just have diagree about Fox. No where did I say he was a good coach. I just said he wouldnt sacrifise his whole team and job for one player.

That requries some kind of magical undying love for a player that just doenst happen in the Nfl.
