LaMelo Ball, “I’ve got to be in there longer in the fourth quarter”

I don’t think there is a whole lot here but this is interesting in that this is the first time that LaMelo has publicly talked about playing time.

In LaMelo’s defense, he played about three minutes under his average and to be honest he should probably be getting 36 minutes per game.

On the other hand… in JB’s defense, LaMelo entered the game with the Hornets up by 7 and he was on the floor for 20 of the 22 points in the Clippers 22-0 run.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out tonight.

I think he needs to learn to not foul so much in the first quarter more than worry about playing time in the fourth.

That’s become a huge issue. Not to mention, most of his fouls are pointless fouls.

Yep. I can see picking up the fouls to stop a run or fast break dunk, but not the ones he is picking up.

The tic tac fouls need to stop.  He gets them in bunches also.

Fouls are hurting his court time but it’s weird how he’s 74th in minutes per game. He has to be on the floor more.
