After eight years as a head coach, only one assistant under Fox -- Jack Del Rio -- has gone on to become a head coach in the NFL. Of course, Del Rio was here only one year, and Fox benefitted more from his presence than vice versa.

Nothing too enlightening here, but I never really considered that Fox hasn't developed any coaches that can go on to better themselves in the NFL. It would seem serving under John Fox is actually pretty detrimental to one's career.

Seriously. How many people -- players or coaches -- can you say have benefitted from serving under Fox?

Much of Fox's early success came from a talented core group of players, not from schemes or coaching.

Even though most of those players -- especially on the defensive side of the ball -- are long gone, the same is true today. When we win, it is almost entirely a result of individual execution.

Fox is a decent HC but not a great one. No one expects fox to develope coaches. Fox is not here to that. Fox is here for one thing and one thing only. That is to help our team get to the SB and win it and keep going back to the playoffs year after year. But yet he can't even do that. All fox have mange to have was back to back lossing seasons instead. Fox is a decent HC and a good record.

:reddevil: That shows Jack del rio has failed as a HC. That is the product of John fox. Jack del rio should of stayed our DC. we would have won the SB by now. Since Jack del rio left our D slowly got worser every year then on out.
