It's really bizarre, the Panthers are the only team I can recall that doesn't purposely pump up the fans... I remember going to Skins games where the big screen would focus on a pre-recorded video of Lavar Arrington during 3rd downs while he held his hand up to his ear... the place would go crazy.

Can you imagine what it would be like if during 3rd down's we cut to a pre-recorded video of Beason pumping the crowd up? Easiest way to encourage crowd noise? put up a decibel meeter and challenge the crowd to make it to a certain number... so many things we could do to make BofA a nightmare for opposing teams.

I went to a Seahawks game a few years back and yelled at a guy three rows in front of me and told him to stand the hell up.

He told me to fug off so I politely went down and apologized for my actions and oogled his wife and stole his beer before I threatened to beat him near death with his own seat if he didn't stand up.

He's never sat at a game since.

I also want to try their Celebration Ale, as I've heard good things about it.

Terrible! Undrinkable---don't waste your money. It's nothing like the tasty goodnes that is the Pale Ale.

I was sitting in the 100's and had a guy threaten me for standing up. Told me he was a "Vietnam Vet" and "he knew how to kill". It turned ugly for a bit. He ended up getting tossed, not me.

LOL, gotta love that line... I'd respond with: "oh yeah, well I'm a lawyer and I know how to sue"

So I sat in section 133 row 6 seat 3 last night.

About halfway through the first quarter on a defensive stand me and my friends were standing up and cheering like any good fans would have done. Then I hear a guy from about 3 rows back yelling at us to "Sit the f**k down!!"

I turned around and told this jagoff to STFU and that he was at a football game not an opera. Things escalated to the point that my pregnant wife was cussing him out too. I finally told the guy that if I heard him tell any of us to sit down again we'd settle it out in the parking lot.

About 5 minutes later he came to my seat and asked if he could buy me a beer and apologized for his actions.

I sit in these seats once a year and have never had a problem other than some blue hairs looking at me like I was crazy.

One douche does not represent all of panther nation but this made me wonder just how often this happens at games. People like this give panther fans a bad name.

Also, before any of the f**ktards who bash panther fans all the time chime in this was the exception last night, not the norm. 99.9% of the fans were great last night, but this guys douchebaggery needs to be known.

ive sat in that very same section several times---

the wine and cheesers in that section are pathetic.

most of them are free tickets they got from their work so they dont give a poo that it cost you $300 a seat to sit there.

Actually I told him something along the lines of "grab some Geritol and get the *** outta here". He didn't respond well. It was agreed we'd settle things outside the gates after the game but he got grabbed by security for--lol--this is what the cop said "being a dick" and was tossed out on his ass.

Hmm... This is quite similar to what happened to this guy:

First off, how bout a Hell Yea for another Dolphin win!

Many of you will care less about this thread, but for some who get to go to games far and few in between may enjoy this thread. My last Dolphins game was the season finale vs. the Jets in 2003. Grew up in Virginia loving every minute watching Dan Marino do his thing(as a child, 24 now). I now live outside Charlotte and have been anticipating this game for several years. My second game, so you could imagine how excited I was. I made it to training camp this summer to watch the inter squad scrimmage. You cant imagine how jealous of all of you that live so close and can attend game and training camp regularly.

Anyways, back to my story. I was able to get seats at the 30 yard line, row 3 visitor side. I went with a friend who is a Panther fan. BTW, impressed with the number of Fin fans out there tonight, good showing. Around me we had a mixture of panthers/fins fans around. Being that close to the field most people were standing to watch the game. We even had a 6'9" dolphin fan in front of us standing (No lie I actually asked this mammoth of a man how tall he was later in the game, cool man though).

So, my friend and I are standing to watch the game, like everyone else. Halftime comes and some Fins fans behind us get security to come down and complain about us standing to watch the game. They are all in Pennington jerseys. While security is moving down the aisle to talk us, the older woman in the group is cursing at us about sitting down. (Its halftime, we were trying to leave are seats and rehydrate at this point, but we have security coming to "talk" to us. We tell security what was going on and they leave telling us that we have done nothing wrong. After they leave, these "Fin" fans continue to say very unkind things to put it politely. Most of the comments are directed to my friend who is significantly taller than me and wearing a steve smith jersey. I am in a Greenish Polo (Sorry my Fin gear is limited, going to the game and seeing the gear some fans have I am ashamed I don't have anything to wear to the game.) But, in my attire it would be hard distinguish who I was rooting for.

At this point I become livid at the comments this woman is making. This woman is old enough to be my mother and she cussing like a sailor. I turn around and tell this woman, that I am A DOLFAN, and am embarrassed the way you are acting. I told her we are not JETS fans, and that she should be proud of her team and STAND UP and watch the game like the rest of us. Oh, this set them off and I became the target. It didn't matter if I was a Fin fan, I was the scum of the earth for saying a word to them. Her son who was my age told me we could take this up outside the game. Dude, if you didn't run out after the game(giving us the bird), I'd be happy to take you up on your offer. (send me a PM).

BOTTOM LINE, don't be these fans. I don't want the rep that Jets fans get. And I know we have kinda got a bad rep lately(stabbing someone, what's that about?)

After the game, come to find out (from other attendees) these fans were relatives of Chad Pennington. Panther and Fins fans around us thanked my friend and I after the game for being so civil in a heated situation.

I half expected to be treated like this from a Panther fan, being a visitor to the stadium. But, never from one of our own. Has anyone else ever felt like they have been mistreated from one of their "own" fans?

P.S. Enjoyed the game. Love the Fins. Felt great winning in an opposing stadium. Met some of the "Dolfan Bandits," they were totally cool as well.

Run Ricky Run!!!!!!!

Only bashing I have about Panther fans last night is how many of them sold tickets to Dolphins fans. I talked to a scalper at around 7:15 and he was selling tickets for $25 ($51 face) By kickoff you could of gotten them for $5.

I am considering this.

Was in section 140...me...the wife...and two buddies I work with. They are both Phin fans and they're brothers. These were tix from a friend that offered them up. They'd cheer when a nice play happened...I'd cheer when a nice play happened. This lockjaw dude in front of us tried to start something with one of the brothers I knew and came to the game with. He was doing nothing more than cheering. I asked him what was up, and he asked they not yell. We're lower level...at a football game. We're going to yell...and it was nowhere near obnoxious levels. He kept running his mouth and it got to the point I again asked what the he11 the deal was...he calls them a douchebag. Even the lady sitting next to me...not my wife...was wondering what his deal was. I politely told the guy that these two guys were going to cheer. That's what fans do.

Then halftime we're in line at the bathroom and this drunk Panther fan stumbles out and bumps the same brother on the way out...turns and tries to start something again. I just told the guy to keep on walking as I stepped up. I was wearing my 89 jersey...and even others in line were wondering wth was up with the guy.

I think it was just a primetime game...LOTS of time to drink beforehand.

But losing is frustrating...and probably why some have such short triggers.

I lost the bet...and will have to wear a Marino jersey Monday at work.

No problems in 139....we stood very often. Hell, there was even some cussin' going on and no one made a peep.

Was pretty embarrassing when the big Lets Go Dolphins chant went up....damn it was loud. Wonder how audible it was on TV. Might fire up the DVR tomorrow and watch it.
