Game Day Menu thread

I don't know what it's like where you are, but it's been cold, rainy and windy here.  So yesterday I pulled out the crock pot and whupped up some pintos with ham hocks and corn bread, and that will be for the game today as well.

There will be beer and scotch as well.

It's cold here in the mountains too.  Ice on the windshield but not on the pumpkins.  Can't decide between Bojangles or leftover homemade chicken pot pie.  There's always some alcohol around of one kind or another.  Alway (well, most always) some single malt around.  

We will WIN today!

[Little Goody Two Shoes]

Local joint has a special wing sauce each month. This month it's their take on General Tso's, 'General Joe's', so thought I'd give them a try. Probably make some bacon cheese fries to go with them. Haven't drank in a while but feels like a Jack and Coke kind of day.

Since I have a birthday this weekend, I figure I would transition to more wine and less hard stuff.  I’m getting old lol. For the game, I’m cooking buffalo wings and seasoned fries. May through a Dr Pepper in after the wine.

Lunch I am making Brats and Hot Italian Sausage. 

 

For Dinner I'm making Rex Chapman chicken from Hornets Home Cooking.
