Darnold was injured ALL week, tho. This woulda been the perfect game to let PJ play.  The reason they didn't is they were desperate not to.

If PJ was better than Darnold he Would be playing.

Edit: and they could easily have sat PJ next week to let Darnold come back in... Because we all know PJ isn't going to just light the Patriots on fire even if he is better than Darnold... His best game as a pro still wasn't good and he's been one of the few QBs worse than Darnold this year...
