He is good enough, we clearly dont need no luke kuechly esq player at mlb for this defense to be great. Carter has far outperformed his draft status but isnt a pro bowl player at least not yet, he is a solid starter that you can resign at a good price and who could possibly improve down the road. If you are talking upgrade then you are talking a first round or second talent....so no. Fix the damn o line with those picks.

Assuming he isn't asking for much, yes. Even if we manage to find better with a later round draft pick (we can't spare anything early for the next couple years at LB, imo), he's very valuable depth.

In today's game LBs are important but they aren't quite as important as they once were.

He's definitely not a starter. I was at the Dallas game and I specifically watched him. He was out of position way to many times.
