Horn was not our best player lol. He is good but he is a rookie cmon. At least that’s whom I think ur talking about on the defensive side. Also check our record don’t even have a winning record with CMC since he’s been in the league, so I’m going to have to disagree with you on that one.

Shaq?

This sounds like some made up pseudo science garbage from a dude who thinks he is smarter than he actually is

Yep. The fact that this Reddick dope has tricked anyone into thinking he knows what he's talking about, let alone is a legitimate GM candidate, is hilarious. Dude got fired from a mid-level personnel job with the Eagles and hasn't worked in the league for nearly a decade.

Yeah I definitely don’t consider him the best. He’s been better but him being out didn’t cost us those 3 games.

What? He missed the 2nd half of the Dallas game and they scored 23 points in the half he was out. We lost by 8.

He was out against the Vikings, Eagles, Giants and we have the worst three defensive games of the year against mediocre offenses.

He comes back against Dallas and has 10 tackles and a pick. We stall their offense (which has been pretty good) and win the game.

How in the world could you say he isn’t our best defensive player? Not having him literally changed outcomes of games.

Picking Teddy Bridgewater, Sam Darnold and PJ Walker isn't bad luck. He inherited zero of those players. He pursued and signed all of them.

That is 100% his fault. Bad luck is getting a rookie QB who has a injury plauged career. Bad luck is not overpaying a career mediocre player like Teddy. Bad luck is not picking up an ex-player and NFL washout in PJ Walker. Bad luck is not taking a three year NFL starting bust with well known issues reading the field and then trading for him.

None of those decisions are bad luck.

Additionally, not pursuing a Jacoby Brissett / Mitch Trubisky / etc level veteran QB in FA was a crime.  These are the type guys who signed in the 5-7 million per year range.  Wouldn't have broken the bank by any means.

I've said in other places, it's fine if you want to develop PJ, great.  Put him on the practice squad.  Same would have applied to Grier.  But don't go into a season with your only two choices being a developmental prospect and Sam Darnold.

Rhule came in and cut Cam after saying he’d love to work with Cam. Gave $60 million to a career JAG in Teddy Bridgwater. A year later, traded three picks for potential bust Sam Darnold. Rhule has the credibility of having no clue at the QB position.

Rhule isn’t the GM? Hurney signed Bridgewater to that deal. Probably in part because cam was not going to take a Hometown discount and resigning a persistently injured quarterback to any type of significant contract would have been one of the dumbest moves in NFL history.

Cam was done.  Bridgewater and Darnold were fliers at the most important position in sports…and it basically cost us a 2nd and a 4th try and figure out if it’d work. Not too bad.

Rhule has final say on personnel. This was a condition of him accepting the job at Carolina. This is a widely known and reported fact.

Considering the money(and draft capital) we have shelled out for Darnold and Teddy, I am not sure resigning Cam could even eclipse how dumb we have been since(contract dependant, of course).
