your mad that he wants to be a super bowl winning franchise?

I'm mad he wants to be like a franchise that has been caught cheating and never owned up to it multiple times, including while narrowly defeating US in a SB game. Yes, I am mad he wants to be like the team that cheated us out of a SB victory.

Game won on last second FG, Patriots later found to have been illegally recording opponents practices to gain unfair advantage over an extended period of time, including during their SB win against us. Goodell orders all tapes destroyed. Why would he, AS THE INVESTIGATING PARTY, do that unless the tapes showed something really damaging to the league?

Like clear evidence the outcome of a Super Bowl was tainted?

Yeah I'm mad our HC wants us to be like that team.

Well Belichick did start his NFL career with a 41-55 record in his first six seasons. Maybe by the end of Rhule's career he'll figure out how to cheat properly as well!

I will say this, if we do become the Pats, I FOR SURE want to face them in the Super Bowl to cheat them out of a victory. It's only fair.

good god, when he said “They’re a team we want to be", I doubt he was talking about having a reputation for cheating.  My guess is, and I'm just spit-balling here, is that he meant he wanted to be a tough, defensive minded team that was a threat to win it all each year.  And I'm ok with that.

Or he was just buttering up the opposition, as every coach does.  No need to give them bulletin board material unnecessarily.

But I could be wrong.  Perhaps he desires to be an surly douchebag that will cheat to win at any cost.  He just doesn't come across that way so far.

    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
    • 6-10 carries for  35-45 yds and 3-5 catches for 15-25 would be great.
