Yikes.  TMZ is reporting Riggs is expected to be OK, but the pics from the accident look really bad - looks like one car caught fire.

There is one confirmed casualty, if alcohol/drugs are involved... he could be looking at jail time.

Raiders need another speed threat? I think we got one 😉

DUI resulting to death in Nevada I believe is a 2 year minimum sentence. Doubt he plays in the NFL again. Such a shame for this dumbass's actions to result in an innocent person's death. Especially considering the NFL has a free 1-800 number for players to use to get a ride anywhere any time so that they don't go out and drive while drunk or high.

The law in Nevada states that if a person is convicted of DUI which causes substantial bodily harm, or death, in another person, it is a FELONY offense. ... In this instance, such a crime is punishable by imprisonment in Nevada State Prison system for a minimum term of 2 years and a maximum term 20 years

Needs to be stiffer than that.

Important to note the last time this happened in the NFL was in Dallas with Josh Brent and Jerry Brown. Brent was driving impaired and teammate Brown died. Texas had the same minimum of 2 years but Brent wound up only doing 180 days. He was suspended by the league for 10 games and the Cowboys even played him again after the incident. And Brent was a fringe player, not a high 1st round pick like Ruggs. Maybe his NFL career won't be over, but it should be...
