No PJ is garbage and ur wrong there is another guy that thinks PJ is a nfl material @CRA

lol I don't think PJ Walker is NFL material

When you here someone say Sam Darnold shouldn't be on the  NFL field and is basically PJ Walker tier QB.....you think that somehow is hyping up PJ.  Again, this isn't a PJ Walker discussion in reality, it remains a Sam Darnold one.

I have been painfully clear that I want Rhule forced to remove PJ and Sam from the roster next year.  And the surest way to force Rhule off both is for PJ to take the field.  We aren't winning this year with Sam.  We aren't winning with PJ.  Might as well make the Ls productive.   Which means forcing Rhule to rebuild his QB room.   And Rhule's handling of the QB spot has been one predictable mess after another.

if the never lost gifs make that hard to understand? Well, I just find that fun.

Offensive line says bullshit.

OL is poo.  Agreed.  But, part of their issues has been a lack of balance and poor scheming to mask our deficiencies.  But, even with our issues, the plays and passes were there to be made and Sam has left plenty of them out there.

Not claiming he's been good the previous games...just saying there is a direct relationship between the poor performances of our online, receivers, and Brady not calling a balanced attack.

Yep. Another top notch defensive performance on Sunday should have put us back in the top 10 overall defenses and likely will be a top 5 pass defense unit.

No reason to fight it, we are a run the ball and shut the other team down type of team. Same as the Fox era, same as the Rivera era.

Sometimes you've just got to wear the clothes that fit ya.

Tannehill is much better than Darnold but Tannehill is basically an average NFL QB. It's debatable if Darnold is NFL starting caliber at this point.

My assessment of him coming out of college was his [Darnold] ceiling was a bottom third starter at best.  After seeing him further now as our starter, he is not even that.  His ceiling is NFL backup, and even that is questionable because he is much more likely to lose you a game than he is to manage one and win it.

No the huge mistake was treating cam the way they did. Could really use him right now but probably ain’t gonna answer the phone.

his statement was just stating something a blind man could have seen.

Cam was 20td’s (12 of those rushing) and 10 ints. Last season.

are you saying you’d rather have more of PJ than get someone that can actually play at the NFL level. Only person that thinks PJ is NFL material is Rhule and PJ, which is a fuging joke

Let it go Doc and stop living in the past. Handling Cam the way they did was a mistake. Most players don't get to ride off into the sunset and play on one team their whole careers like the Bus did. It's past time to move on.

If you could get Rhule to be honest, even he probably doesn't think PJ is NFL material.

I would argue that he actually is. But the 32nd ranked starting QB in the NFL always has poo stats. Show me a season where the 30+ ranked QBs put up good numbers.

I don't care in the least to do so but there obviously aren't 32 elite QBs in the world so that must mean something about how hard it is.

We just don't want the fugin 30 something ranked QB lol

Like I said in another thread;

Sam has the 7th highest pocket time in the league and is in the bottom for air yards per attempt.

We have a major qb issue. You insert someone like DW or Stafford or someone who is competent and we maybe have 1 loss this year.

He cannot process what is happening in front of him and he has the 7th ranked time in the pocket. He is a dumb quarterback. He’s in his 4th year and still doesn’t get it. If we don’t bring a competent qb in this off-season or in the draft rhule and fitt should be fired. This season is a wash. We’ll try and rush and play defense for wins but if we rely on Sam for a game we’ll more than likely lose.

Christensen we will just have to see. He was a mixed bag in his first start. I am definitely down on him in general just simply because it was this FO/Staff that selected him and their track record with OL is atrocious. Marshall wasn't splashing much but he was making some minor contributions. I think he could definitely stick around as a quality depth piece with the chance to maybe even move up if he improves. Tremble I like but he is a work in progress. The hope is he continues to develop and becomes a valued starter for us. Hubbard and Smith might end up as backups for us, it just depends on how their career arc is. Brown I am out on. If he can't get past these bums, he just isn't it. Plus, he was a 6th rounder anyway. So few of them pan out.

We need to make meaningful investments in the OL(1st, 2nd, 3rd round draft picks) and get some EFFECTIVE veterans there, as well. Then we also have to eventually figure out QB. You are only going to go so far in the NFL without a competent NFL starter. We currently have zero on the roster.

I think you're pretty spot on here. There is some potential in the rookies, but also some meh.

If they don't land Watson, I think they go all in on Howell in the draft instead of trading down or going Oline in the first. There will be pressure to improve the QB position again and Tepper will be able to sell a lot of overpriced tickets, merch, and beer to UNC homers.
