Back to the basics did wonders for Sam. Get better because I want to beat NE.

Sam being on the field won't make a lick of difference. The gameplan this game was hoping we can successfully run the ball enough to make him a non-factor. Don't know if that will work against a better Patriots defense.

The offense is still heavily limited by Sam.

PJ is the most erratic passer in the league and if we can’t convert 3rd downs like we did today we don’t stand a snowballs chance in hell.

I was impressed with Abdullah today . He ran hard and can catch out of the backfield . Hubbard ran hard as well but does not  do as well catching the ball . I was also impressed with Darnald today but he can't stay healthy running as much as he did today .  He laid it all out for the win .

Exactly.  With Sam, there is a chance of converting 3rd downs (I think they went 7 of 11, i believe?) in crucial situations.

With PJ, there is a chance of going 0 for a billion.

Sam may not be the future QB here but he's still an actual legitimate NFL QB in comparison to Mr. XFL himself PJ Walker.

I was really happy to see how Sam was playing today.  Playing in the plays, not doing stupid things.  His feet looked better, calmer.  It really helped to run the ball effectively, and we're going to have to live and die by that the rest of the season.

I will say this: Sam has guts.  Running power like that, constantly running and making plays when guys aren't open to convert downs.  He also played well despite his guys continually letting him down with drops.

He has plenty of issues, but Sam played well today.  It's not enough to overcome the bad games, but he just needs to keep playing this this today: under control.

Well let's just hope he first finds a way to recover 'cause concussions are no joke.

    • I went on a solo elk hunt in the Flat Tops. It was awesomely miserable. LOL It was a late season hunt, I think third season and it was forecasted to snap off cold with highs in the upper thirties and lows in the single digits. fug it, I'm going anyway. They were wrong. The highs were in the low 20s and the lows were in the negative teens. I shivered so hard the first night I thought my teeth were going to break. It was the only time I've ever been legit concerned that I might be in trouble. Crawled out of my sleeping bag and got a fire started and suffered through the night bundled up next to the fire. I slept the next two nights literally wearing every stitch of clothing I'd brought with Nalgenes full of near boiling water in the bottom of my sleeping bag. That was the only way to have non-frozen water in the morning anyway. There was about a foot of snow on the ground and the melt/freeze crust was almost enough to support your weight but you'd go crashing through just as you went or make your step. It was exhausting travel and every step sounded like a rifle shot. Hunting was basically impossible. I never saw an elk in those four days, only saw 5-6 deer. LOL It was brutal but I loved it. Absolutely beautiful country that is never been to before and haven't been back since. I needed that four day complete break from society fighting for my life against the elements. I'm weird like that.
    • The lack of production is especially surprising given how much effort the team put into coaxing the best from him.  In just six short years he’s had the opportunity to work with 3 different GMs, 7 different head coaches and 10 different starting quarterbacks.  There’s literally no excuse to be made that one of those combos didn’t work.  It might be time to look withIAN.
    • I would say maybe 8 in a tier by themselves and all but 2 where picked in the top of the first allen pat m stroud burrow jackson hurts (maybe) Herbert Stafford
