Henderson has been banged up and is a young CB learning a new defense. You guys need to learn some patience. Rhule said he was a few years down the road investment.  When Henderson and Horn are locking down their guys in a few years we will all be happy.

Who knows what the future holds but so far we've invested big in two cast offs from the Jets and that uhh isn't going so well so the skepticism around a draft bust from the Jaguars is understandable at least.

Luvu is playing well. So it's not all negative on the Jets front.

Too early to tell with regards to CJ.

His depression is keeping him out. The kid should just quit football now. Go work a factory job like many Americans. I hate kids these days.

Serious question. If you hate everything Panthers so much. Why are you here? Because almost every post is wrought with anger.

What a colossal failure that trade turned out to be

It’s not at this point yet and the coaches have said that was a long term deal and I believe it. Teams don’t give up top talent like that for a 3rd rounder. There were gonna be issues. He also didn’t like that coaching staff.  We have cj for 2 more years and a 5th year option if we want him. Still plenty of time to see if this works out.

I never claimed highground. I don't care about typos and I didnt know he was injured.

I would eventually like to see a return on the 3rd round pick though.

We could have drafted a olineman with it

You have to see the irony of calling someone stupid. When you yourself can't get your own thoughts out correctly.

And we already have a 3rd round T that folks are unhappy with.

I don’t hate the Panthers. I just hate how it’s being run right now. It’s kind of like having a sister that is a bitchhh and pisses you off everytime you see her.

His short career has been marred by constant injuries thus far, which is concerning.  Can’t help us if he rarely sees the field.

one injury, his shoulder. Its the same issue since last year. He injured in in game 1 of the season. A proper offseason should heal. Love how you say "career marrred by constant injuries" ... when he in his second year, and its a single injury.

    • Too late to edit above but the quote is from this Diane Russini article in the Athletic: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5941684/2024/11/23/russinis-what-im-hearing-the-day-the-jets-fell-apart-and-the-broncos-rallied-belichick-best-fits/ Okay.. there you have sorry I left that out the first post.  Also waivers keep the contract intact. That is the major difference in released and waived. It's all in that link from the other post.
    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
