Does anyone still seriously think Jeff Davidson calls a good game?

I will say one more thing...there is a very good reason why Moose is playing more and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what that reason is.

your right, there is also a very good reason why Jake is still in? Actually there isn't.....for either. If someone sucks as bad as the two of them....you at least throw what you got on the bench out for a serious look before coming to the conclusion that pathetic is as good as you can do.

I am a supporter of giving Moore one legit start w/ a weeks prep. Hell, I will even take Feely and give him the shot. Fox's decision making should be questioned on just about every level of the game right now....

I would accept your train of thought if Fox resembled a functioning head coach.....at this stage in his tenure....Fox doesn't appear to have a clue in too many aspects.

his depth chart and playcalling has cost a talented group.

You guys are ignorant. Moose has proven himself over and over, and he's still more productive at 36 than Jarrett will ever be. Honestly, I don't understand why some of you want to hitch your horse to this wagon. Like I said, there are rookies and 2nd year WR's all over this league that are outplaying Jarrett right now, and they don't all have pro bowl QB's throwing them the ball either.

Yeah, Jake has struggled too, but he has at least proven that he can win games in the past. Jarrett has proven absolutley nothing, ever.

ignorant is thinking at his age what Moose did in 2004 or even 2008 means all that much. Same with Jake, what Jake did in 2003 and 2005 means very little now.

if you can't see the difference between giving someone a chance to prove there worth...like Colbert vs. not giving someone the chance as in Jarrett.....then I can't help you.

Well, if you can't tell the difference between a quality football player and a scrub, then I can't help you either. You're just lost, my friend. I would give my left nut to be wrong about Jarrett, but I'm not.

again, Colbert got the opportunity for you to call him a scrub. Jarrett hasn't. Pretty simple.

but you think b/c Fox says it is....it is.

Fox has proven time and time again.....he is a bonehead and will make the some pretty obvious errors at times.

So now this thread is about Jarrett? He sucked as bad as Davidson last night. Someone

needs to tell him that no QB is going to throw in direction if he can't

shake the coverage.

Jarrett is a disappointing draft pick, but there's not a lot we can do about him right now. I bet there are a dozen ex offensive coordinators out there who could come in and "consult" for us that could save us from the horror that is Jeff Davidson though.

really every thread I am in goes back to Fox. There are thousands ways to point to poor coaching. Maybe Jarrett is as bad as you say.....a decent coach would have already figured that one out by know.

Name a game Jarrett didn't beat his coverage in limited time this year outside last night? It can't be done.....

Jarrett has never ran that route well...ever. So it made sense to run it and throw it to him....that is what Fox does....puts guys in position to fail. Moore and Jarrett if combined would be perfect. They each run certain routes clearly better than the other.

Jarrett usually has the luxury of nickel coverage, and it's no surprise that he beats it. But you're blaming his lack of success on Fox, when he's developed tons of other players all over the field. Come on, man...

Jake has been in Carolina since 2003. There has never been a WR outside of Smith and Moose he was able to developed any chemisty with......Moose hasn't even been here that entire time.

Who has Fox "developed". Smith, Beason, Williams, Peppers, Jenkins, Davis......all of the studs in Carolina Fox has rode were not developed by him. I don't give credit to Fox for making them. Fox has rode great talent w/ lame coaching.

So I guess he has an eye for great talent or something? If that's the case, why hasn't Jarrett exploded and what's up with the Shelton experience?

Fox has brought in every player on the roster except Smitty, Moose and Kasay. Clearly he knows a little something about evaluating talent and coaching it up that we don't. But whatever dude, he wins games and he assembles a good roster and yet he still sucks at each depending on the discussion you're in. I guess that's how the Huddle works.

I also really don't get why you've got such a crush on Jarrett. I guess true love needs no explanation. But can we at least agree that Davidson completely sucks?
