I'm of the mind to keep our defense as is, IF we can't retain Donte, we're looking at -- Gilmore / Horn outside, and Bouye as the nickel as he is on a 2 year deal, Henderson as additional outside depth, Pride returning, and Keith Taylor, with Hartsfield as the CB / S piece. 

We could definitely survive trading or losing Jackson, though I think they want to keep him, he has played well under Rhule's staff.

We should definitely be looking at offloading some corners for picks. I think donte could get a 2nd or 3rd for a playoff needy team.

Same. There’s a lot of teams that can use secondary help. We need to recoup some of these picks by trading Donte.

So what you're saying is we will franchise him needlessly this year then award him top 5 corner money the next year, after drafting yet another corner in round 1?

According to rumors Nick Martin, Cam Robinson, and Andre Dillard are all on the trade block. Also Mitchell Schwartz is a FA and here we are with our thumb in our ass. 
 

I would be shopping Jackson. Bouye, Henderson, Horn, and Gillmore can stay for next year.

IDK why nobody has taken a flyer on Schwartz yet?  Is his health really that bad?

All I could ever find was it was a back injury so it must be some kind of Nerve/Disc issue.
