A point in the Giants game I laughed way too soon

So, when we stopped the Giants on 4th down at the goal line, I laughed like a mad scientist mixing together chemicals with fluorescent colors and smoke escaping from the beakers.

I was laughing largely in part of the fact that the play looked EXACTLY like something the Panthers would have done or the last 5 years or more (and years before that some with and some without Cam).

It felt so incredibly satisfying to finally see another team pull an extremely dumb play. I swore it was only the Panthers who did stupid crap like this.

Just as soon as I was done cackling, the Panthers bested them for dumb "Panther-esque" style plays by almost immediately giving up a safety.

I guess....well....I guess at least it wasn't a bad snap over Darnold's head, or Darnold running out of the back of the endzone. Jeez, making "at least" scenarios seems so sad. What is this franchise coming to?

Why don't you folks just make 1 giant thread where you can all complain together? Instead of you all making 1 thread, oh hellz 10 threads each?

We get it, you ain't happy. But man, not everyone around here is ready to jump off a cliff. Well, after this weeks Huddle. I may join you. The depression around here is palpable.

Ok fine ill just make a Watson, bench Sam and trade for the bottom of the barrel, sign Cam, or fire Ruhle post.

This was supposed to be a thread about something completely different than everyone has been posting on here for the last 4 losses.

That is your right. Did you not start this thread to complain?

If I could only figure out how the hell to mute you lol.

The thread was supposed to be a descriptive story that might be a little more interesting or different than the same threads we have on here repeatedly.

I swear to God I feel like I am re-reading the hours and hours worth of exact same poo my wife and I texted each other in circles when we were getting a divorce.

    • All options should be on the table. Always. I never loved Gettleman's probably ego driven stunt of running the pick up immediately to show everyone how confident you are of your decision. If the phone is ringing I'm listening. Yeah, you may really like a prospect available but someone on the other end of the line might like someone available to the point that they're willing to do something stupid to get him. Now granted, working against us is the reality that our owner is the poster child for that person on the other end of the line but that aside, yeah we should always listen if offers are coming in and there's time on the clock to hear them.
    • ^This.  However, if some team feels froggy enough and nobody at the top of our board falls, let them jump.
    • It could make sense, but I don't know who it would be if we're talking QB. I just don't see the Steelers trading up that far, it's not in their blood. I strongly feel they're angling for Milroe or Dart, and will be patient.  No need to get aggressive for those guys.  Other teams won't have an issue letting the Saints pick Sanders haha.   Our best shot is 1 of Campbell/Membou (or maybe it could even be Banks) are available & a team like SF or SEA with a boatload of picks and OL needs makes the trade.  Or it's Jeanty and the Bears/Cowboys/etc. really want him.  Put yourself in other team's shoes - no one else is worth trading up for.  This draft is Carter, Hunter, & Jeanty...then a huge field (25+) of late-1st/early-2nd round talent.    If anything, it's the OL scenario.  Seattle or SF are the perfect spots - move into the teens, add a 2nd, and a future pick (at min) The only Shedeur options I see would be CLE (we get 33 & next year's 1st minimum) for 8 or NYG and we get 34, 99 and 2026 1st type package.
