Come on. He put the logo at midfield and took away the NFL shield. He also removed Jerry's statue.🤔

Fans wanted those things. That said, those were softballs that anyone could get right. His decisions when it comes to coaches and GMs leave something to be desired though.

I have yet to tip my hat to him for a job well done.  I agree that many fans wanted those things, but to me...they meant less than zero.

Now do it with Google stock.

2.9B would equal about 8.5B.

Apple and oranges my friend.............try to accumulate 2.9 B of stock without tilting the spread skyword on the liquidity of the trades over the time it would take you to gather that position..........Tepper made the deal in one strike with an NFL team..........

"Focusing on the business side of things first."

Not bringing in a seasoned "President of Football Operations" when taking over the team.

2 Carolinas 1 Team

Keeping Ron and Hurney when a need for change was as clear as could be.

Firing Ron and keeping Hurney.  Ron was bad, Hurney is an anchor.

"Sports Complex" more important than football.

Soccer more important than football.

Concerts more important than football.

Building a new stadium more important than football.

All around, a disgrace so far...and not a shocking one with the way he started out.

All of those things helped Tepper's bottomline.

OK...or do the DOW...you get the idea.

He makes bad decisions with this football team, has since he bought it, and I see nothing slowing that down.

Believe if you wish, but I'm going to use track record vs. hope.

Trotting out the likes of Kyle Allen, Taylor Heinekie, Teddy Bridgewater, PJ Walker, Will Greir and Sam Darnold will do that to a fan base.

the last time I cared so little about this team was 2010. Luckily, that led to Cam.

Just so you know . . . when you look at the combined stats of the QB's who have left Carolina . . . you get:

385 / 572 (67%), 4106 yards, 27 TD, 13 INT

The problem might not be the QB's we trot out, but the team we put around them.  I still hope that the new regime can fix it, but there are definitely other issues.

I'm giving them 3 more years.

Next off season to fix the O line.

The next season  to get depth right.

Then playoffs every year.

Or Sunday's will turn in to a day for golf.

September and October, the tourists are finally gone and Sunday can once again be a peaceful day on the boat.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with November and December Sundays....Haven't had to worry much about Jan. football with this team in a long time.

Same boat.  Our family has had PSL's since the beginning and now I own them.  I just don't care like I used to.  2015 was fun, but this team has had a history of mismanagement from Day 1 until this very day.  My kids aren't interested and if they were, they'd only want to stay for the first half.  I got spoiled last year watching it at home on the my porch and cooking out.

I still like it when they win and still don't like it when they lose, but it's just not important to me anymore.  I'll hold onto my PSL's and give them to customers/employees, but my days at BoA are over unless my kids want to go.

They need to fix this fast. None of this from you guys sounds good at all.

The huddle IS the fan base. The most loyal and there seems to be no hope among the longtime huddlers.

We've all been through enough with the Panthers to see when things are about to go off the rails and it's apparent to us something is wrong with our organization.

The flailing attempts at gaining relevancy isn't something we're used to.

There needs to be very serious talks at BofA, losing a diehard fanbase to apathy should be fought off like the plague.

Sometimes you need to go back to what works and form alliances with those who will work with you willingly instead of chasing skirts desperately.

    • What I really learned here is that the Carolina Panthers aren't anywhere near as bad as I initially thought they were earlier this year.  We've got a young and growing offense with some promising parts. But it still needs some tweaks and improvements.  We really still could still use a dominant #1 WR. But Chubba,  Legette, Coker,  and J.Sanders have generally looked decent. Bryce took a big leap after the benching. We can score enough points to keep pace with 2x defending super bowl champions, so offense isn't a huge issue. Main thing that needs improvement is defense. We sorely need a CB 2, and a number of new players at Dline and LB.  We're not quite as bad at edge with Wonnum showing promise.  But we definitely need 1 or 2 more edges Clowney is old.  Run D is probably worse prevailing theme these past couple years. We really need a good young stud or two to pair with Derrick Brown and another LB to pair up with Trevin Wallace. If Morgan and Canales can focus on rebuilding the defense this off-season and possibly going out and getting a #1 WR. This team could easily be somewhere around 7-10 to 10-7 and flirting with playoffs in 1 or 2 seasons. Overall this game has made me feel alot more positive about the direction of the team.
    • With our picks we need pass rush, lb, Safety, a speedster yac wr, o line depth and I still want a mid round qb. We got 9 picks and 8 in the first 5 rounds. If they pull Off another solid draft we be cooking.
    • We had one passing touchdown against the Giants and one passing touchdown against the Chiefs today. Yes a good backup can replicate that. And that is why Andy Dalton in significantly less games has the same number of 30 point outings as Bryce Young. I am on board with you guys about wanting to be hopeful for the future. Today was a good performance to build on especially at home. But let's please keep things in perspective. BTW the Bucs who honestly aren't even that good blew the doors off the Giants today after we went to overtime against them with 17 points. Again. Perspective.
