I don't like him, you don't like him but I respect the HELL out of his coaching ability

Loses a Hall of Fame QB to retirement- team is still 4-2

Loses players due to a cap purge- team is still 4-2

Loses a Top 5 NFL WR now for nearly 2 seasons- team is still 4-2

Use to play an uptempo NFL offense, has now adapted to focusing on his only offensive weapon in Kamara and relies heavily on his defense

Makes Jameis Winston look serviceable

 

We can get Watson, but until this Franchise finds an elite level coach (Harbaugh, Payton) that brings NFL caliber coordinators (Allen, Roman) then it won't matter the caliber of the ship you have built if the captain is inept (See Ronald Rivera years at the helm with two generational talents in Newton/Kuechly)

Teppah is a hedgie guy, he has to know when to cut the stock and take the loss or when it's time to hold for long term gains. This coaching staff minus Snow is dishwater at best

Yeah but he also has a heck of an offensive line in front of Winston and Winston has always been better than Darnold. Not taking anything away from Payton - he is a great coach but it's not really a fair comparison.

Don't get me wrong, Sean Payton is a great coach.  But the Saints clearly aren't the threat they once were with Brees.

QB matters, even to the best.  Look at how the Seahawks are doing without Russ.
