Everyone marveled at KC. They needed to redo their line, and went out and spent money, and draft picks. 

 

And now, Mahomes is hurt. 

 

Fixing the Oline is not an easy fix. Those who believe it is are lying to themselves.

 

Edit to add; Bringing in Watson will take resources away from fixing the Oline.

I think what's funny is given the money doled out to two FA linemen, that our OL in 2021 is worse than it was in 2020, when it was worse than it was in 2019.

I agree but who would you have gotten and they did put the defense in a shape to win games.. Could they have really fixed the Oline as well this offseason?? They finished 1 major hole now Hopefully next offseason is the Oline turn...

But you can do it on Madden!  Seriously though the relentless calls for miracles around this team is Maddening.  It's too fuged up to fix this season and most likely next season as well. 

Buckle up folks, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

Rhule claimed his number 1 complaint about last year was not getting off the field on 3rd downs. He went about fixing that.

 

Hopefully, the attack the line with the same gusto this year.

I totally agree with what the plan was... And They did a good job of fixing that problem..

The Oline is going to take time but when Rhule got here the Defense was clearly the bigger need.. Luke gone, Secondary and Dline needed to be rebuilt... We're still in year 2 of this rebuild.. I don't see how ppl don't see this..

In all honesty, and I'm not playing "hindsight is 20/20," I would've invested no fewer than three draft picks in offensive linemen. It was apparent to those around the league that Fitterer went all panic-buy on Elflein and Erving. He was spending good money on guys whose production and potential had, at no point, justified that cost, and it made people worry we were bidding against ourselves for those acquisitions.

They went all OL and their defense can't stop a nose bleed.

We went all defense and can't score.

Those guys got mid level contracts.. And my question is who else was out there to get?? In reality nobody you could have gotten for the Oline has the impact you got from Fox, Reddick, AJ, and Jones.. Plus reality was they started this rebuild on defense a year ago and wanted to finish it before going to the offense...

It's not a problem yet. And we ARE missing Jaycee, and Shaq.
