Yeah, that would change real fast when the leading story on every news channel turned to how the Carolina Panthers are set to start an accused serial sexual predator at QB and the NFL is prepared to standby and let it happen. Goodell would cave to the public pressure.

I agree with you, just posting what I heard him say.

Yes, let's kick this poo show into maximum overdrive. Watching us trade a king's ransom for Watson just to watch him immediately end up on the commissioner's exempt list would be maximum entertainment around here.

Unless the people around here know that's what will happen and we're looking to next year with a top 5 qb

How long have ya'll be following sports?

Nobody is going to protest Watson playing.  Again, not trying to downplay what Watson is accused of because it is TERRIBLE and I do think we shouldn't touch him, but at the end of the day, as sad and cruel as this may sound... Watson is going to play in the NFL again and this all will, in all likelihood, be mostly forgotten or swept under the rug.  We've seen this time and time again.

Sadly possible but where he goes and when he goes will mater for him in that regard. I'm not sure this is a great place for him to land. It's not like Cam had an easy time and he bought a stolen laptop...

I understand the folks who are against it but we did this to ourselves. Could have taken Fields at 8 and not given up multiple picks for Mr. Turnover. But without a qb the rest of the talent we have may as well be for naught and premier players aren't going to want to come here or stay for long with the current qb room. We are becoming the Browns of yesteryear and we only have our front office to blame.

What do these fugging idiots get that it’s not the answer.

1. As soon as he moves the NFL is putting him on the commissioners list- only reason he’s not is because Houston isn’t playing him.

2. We are going to trade good capital away and a chunk of salary cap for a QB and not be able to address the OL.

3. He knows zero about the playbook and has zero chemistry with anyone on the team, so won’t see any real results this year IF we don’t get him killed from playing behind this OL this season.

4. The horrible, horrible PR behind this.

5. What happens if he’s guilty, goes to jail, or gets suspended for a year or two and we are out of the capital we traded for him and him.

You guys are a bunch of idiots.

Nor concerned with him not knowing playbook or team chemistry…we have neither to get to know

still don’t need to give up all that Texans want for a guy that won’t be playing for a long time
