I’m taking a pass on Mayfield. He’s a pretty good QB but not what Is going to win you a SB.

If you pay a top QB top dollars then it takes away what you can pay the rest of the team .  Just how much does a player have to make before he thinks about who he plays with .  You must balance  your checkbook often , Build through the draft and balance the rest of the vets. When the vets get too expensive make a trade .

I have not really started looking, but since he is a local product, I like Howell.  His team sucks. I like the Liberty QB--and I like the Ole Miss QB.  But there are many flying beneath the radar--from what I saw of Darnold today--I am not sure he makes it through the season.  And we picked up his option--but at least not a $200 m deal, I suppose.

Strong out of Nevada has me a bit curious.

He's right. I see it as well.  Just about every single one of picks have been with a clean pocket.  Well, as clean as this crew is able to give him. He's just not seeing where to go with the ball.

Yep. It’s a very hard position to play which takes a combination of football intelligence, discipline, and physical ability. Sam has the physical ability, but that’s about it.
