Boy those 2020 and 2021 results seem pretty similar......

agreed. spend draft capital on two WRs but re-sign a guy in a contract year. here are the results, new contract guy got worse.

Teddy seemed to decline as the year went on throwing it deep, tho. And Darnold is clearly more willing to go deep, which is one of his good sides (but mitigated by the fact he can't connect lol).

Also, relevant to Robby, his yards per reception declined by almost 4 going from Darnold to Teddy. It's bounced up a little more with Darnold again but not to his 15 he had pre Panthers.  Seems usage related.

I like Terrace a lot but drafting him while extending Robby was confusing.  I hope they find a way to get him out of his funk.

We send Robby deep. Oline is dogshit, Sam is pressured after 1 sec so deep is never an option. End of analysis.

if we follow through with Rhule’s comment on running the ball more, maybe we connect on a play action pass downfield. That’s really our only hope and I think there is actually a pretty good chance of that this week. 24 will be on DJ, I assume.
