Melo is gonna be fine. THis was his first real "Down" game of the season, and what happened? The guys who the hornets needed to step up, stepped up. No reason to think him playing like this will be a trend, and when he is on his game and guys like Bridges, Hayward, Plumlee, Smith etc. Play like this, we will be hard to beat. Keep in mind we are still without our best scorer and one of our best rotation pieces.

Glad Borrego isn't afraid to roll with whoever's playing the best, bench or not. And to have the depth to pull it off. Hopefully Terry can play vs the Heat

On a separate note, this team has some depth. 4-1 without our leading scorer from last year…

When healthy our rotation turns into:

G - LaMelo Ball, Ish Smith

G - Terry Rozier, Cody Martin, James Bouknight

F - Gordon Hayward, Kelly Oubre, JT Thor

F - Miles Bridges, Jalen McDaniels, Kai Jones

C - Mason Plumlee, P.J. Washington, Nick Richards, Vernon Carey Jr.

Welp, the Hornets may have just gotten cursed. Grant Hill and Brendan Haywood just said on the NBA channel that the Hornets could win a playoff series or even two. They also said Ball is a star the team can market and that Bridges is rapidly becoming one too. The positivity was

Seems like Melo always have bad games against Cole Anthony.
