where was this team on Feb 7 (my birthday)?

anyway, maybe Melo getting confidence back after the All Star Game...looks like the whole team is getting the confidence back.  This Raptors team is 32 and 25....that could have been our record or even better.  

But the fat lady hasn't sung yet

Happy late birthday! I dunno. Maybe the dog days of the season got to them. This game has been over since the second quarter. Tonight would have been a great night to give Bouknight some burn, but they sent him to the Swarm. Is Kai at the Hive? I haven't paid attention to the bench. It would be a good night for him to play too.

Eric just said there were only 9 players dressed for the game. I don't agree with that at all. Injuries happen.

Terry goes out for the game, but we don't have a 3rd string point guard since we traded Ish, and Melo comes back in with Hornets leading by 36

Rozier and Oubre had 23.

Montrez with 20, had a tech in the final minute when he fouled on a break away layup and appeared to say "fug that" while the Raptor was on the floor.  Then he walked to the Hornets bench and shouted "No Layups!!)

A good, much needed win.

The big downside for me is only dressing 9 players with zero guard depth available. That is a major coaching no-no in my book.

I think the refs got him for taunting or some such. On the replay he stared the guy down and said something.

Montrez has been a serious addition for us.  Nice win.  Philly looks nasty though

I think I heard Eric say that they didn't want to put Cody back in at the end of the game, I guess because of a slight injury.  I like Cody and his versatility, but we've got to get another PG on the roster. 

 

We're carrying a lot of young bigs, and Thor got minutes tonight and did ok.  I guess Richards and McDaniels didn't dress because they want to be fully healthy, and we obviously didn't need them tonight, but we can't rely on just Terry and Melo while making a push for the playoffs. 

And the trade deadline has passed.  Who could we find?  It would be better to to get a vet.
