In what world did the defense do a good job yesterday?  They got sliced and diced from jump.  I think they hit Cousins one time all day, and they had WRs running wide open all damn game.  Not to mention their RB running up and down the field all day as well.

I said what I said, the offense needs to do more. No NFL is going to hold up when the offense is putting them on the field over and over.

You can kick and scream all you like but as the old saying goes :

The Numbers Do Not Lie.   🧐

Yes, the offense should have been better but here's the issue :

This Defense was supposed to be a World-Beater after 3 games...

...and they had long since been exposed ever since the Dallas game.

Sorry, man, but that's the way it is.

it doesnt tell the whole story and you know it. these teams are more than a collection of numbers, if your offense is putting you in bad situation over and over no defense is going to look good but you knew that already, you just talking to talk.

Looks like we are a team built on speed and Dallas gave the entire NFL the recipe to win vs this D. We need another big man up front, even with a healthy YGM, to run this D effectively every week. Until then, just run it at us until that speed is tired and there isn't much we can do about it.

We were 2019 Tampa yesterday. All the talent but bad situations wear you out.

Some of those catches by Jefferson and Theilen couldn’t be defended yesterday. They literally caught all the passes you’re not supposed to catch.

That’s what very good receivers do.
It seems our receivers don’t make those contested catches

    • Exactly he has had some bad drops but he made some hard catches it’s almost like he a rookie but i could be mistaken .
    • I'm being careful not to raise my expectations too much. Our offense could be to where we could score closer to 20 points than 10 like last season. Our defense is still really bad, however. I'm ultimately more about our team continuing to fight regardless of the long odds like with today.
    • Not being mentioned much but just having Thielen back was a boost for Bryce, basically his original reliable go-to from his rookie season. As for David Moore being a major factor today, that's an odd one. My guess is a combination of Thielen being back drawing better matchups for everyone else and essentially doing all the stuff Coker would've done but better because he has much more experience in this system. Could've also been by design from Canales because Moore got ten targets today.
