It is absolutely amazing the transformation of this defense's personnel in really just a year as we are just a quarter into the 2nd year. Right now the gaps are LB'er depth and safety depth though Hartsfield is on IR if memory serves. I don't recall if he was slated as ''season ending'' I just remember ''surgery''. 

Either way with all the concerns about the corner position especially heading into the off-season, I am more than impressed with the work done in FA (Bouye), the draft (Horn / Taylor) and via trade (Henderson / Gilmore). 

It is a complete flip from -- Douglas / Apple / Pride (who is on IR) / Elder

So yeah, pinch me!

No Shaq on defense is a big loss. LB is extremely weak.

I have a feeling we’ll see some creative usage of Chinn to make up for it.

I would expect a splash play or 2.  Thats the spot in the Snow Defense that makes the play.

Luvu is ready to step up.  He graded out as one of our top defenders two weeks in a row in limited action.

Man it is nuts. Just think, we have 3 top 10 picks at CB. I'd love to see all 3 on the field at the same time by the end of the season. Throw in Donte and even AJ and that's an embarrassment of riches. We can cover everyone. Stack the box against the run and turn our secondary loose.
