Well Damn! I suppose the desire for elite CB is even stronger than I thought after being surprised by the Henderson trade.

I didn't see this as a possibility but I will stop guessing what this team will do.

Fitterer definitely should have predicted that, months later, the Jags would be willing to cut bait on Henderson at a loss and Gilmore and New England would reach an impasse in extension talks.

Love the move. Go ahead and put Horn on the shelf for the year. No reason to rush him back and have him become Greg Olsen 2.0. Make a decision on Gilmore or Jackson for 2022 based on play the rest of this season.

Few things

1) This blocked Tampa from signing him

2) If we don’t choose to sign him we get a comp pick anyways

3) Both him and Donte will want larger deals this offseason. Gilmore is a top tier corner. These two could very well be playing the rest of this year to see who Carolina chooses to pay

4) You can never have enough guys that can cover in today’s NFL

5) If Horn comes back for those 4 games… good god
