SRS thru week 4

Week 4 Recap

Tough loss last week. The team played well (minus the 3rd quarter) and looked like a team that belongs in the playoff conversation. The game was high scoring as SRS projected, and the Panthers almost hit their expected points. Turnovers (and non-called turnovers) helped Dallas outperform their expectation. I'm not too worried about the high score, Dallas is the 2nd rated offense and most teams won't be able to threaten us with the run and pass the same way.

Our Panthers took a hit in SRS, but not too bad overall. Our nearest neighbors are the Browns and they were a good playoff team last year. You can also see the upper crust of teams forming: Chargers (stellar defense), Bills, Cardinals, Cowboys, and Chiefs (max offense)

Week 5 Projection

Using SRS to project our upcoming matchup with the Eagles suggests we should expect a low scoring defensive affair.
