Offensive line is abysmal.

This. This unit sucks but never has any team ever trotted out a worse pair of NFL OTs by PLAN. Not because they've had a rash of injuries. Nope, looked at those guys and said, "Yep, that's our guys."

I believe that line was ranked 23.

This line is literally competing for the worst in the league.

It could possibly be the worst in franchise history.

That is the line in general though, not individual players.

We not only signed, but signed early in free agency the left side of our current offensive line.  Sounds like a plan.

The signings were awful and I called them out for as much at the time. But I specifically said "OTs". Never has there ever been a planned pair of OTs worse than Bell/Chandler. Both UDFAs. One was actually a college DT.

Without McCaffrey as an outlet the Dallas pass rush can tee off. We will have to hit free agency heavy since we have gutted next years draft with trades

Gutted, we still have 5 picks, and this past draft we turned 6 picks into 11.

Relax.

I know, I was just saying that our current line was what was planned and hoped for by the staff.  It’s not because guys retired or someone got hurt.
The fact that both situations where “planned” is embarrassing.

Rhule needs to get some very pointed questions after today on what is keeping Christensen and Brown on the bench and what incredibly damning evidence Paradis has on someone to remain on the roster.

He needs to get a pointed question on that field goal try. Who didn’t know that would change everything l

its not like this kicker is known for distance

    • I think talent wise he is good as a #2 possession receiver. As a human being, he is an annoying prick and I'm glad to see him not touching the ball one iota with Baltimore. And his stats aren't good for the Ravens because they run a ton of 2 te/2 RB sets and don't go 3 wr much because of how dominant of a run team they are
    • Kittles is having a productive year. He missed two games, but he has the most fantasy points from a tight end by a significant margin. Ryans didn’t want to come to Carolina.  He declined the interview. Some coaches (especially former players) have league connections.  I like Canales but I think we would have been further along as an organization if we kept Wiks.
    • The offer was 2 1sts and a 2nd. That's not a Panthers fan valuation. That's an NFL team GM valuation trying to win a SB before Aaron Donald retired and we said no because we were going to build around him except we didn't and ended up getting a 2nd rounder. We would have gotten a higher draft pick for Burns this year with the Rams trade than we did, and for what? 2 whole wins.  Just because the Panthers have had the scrapings of a Porta potty for GMs doesn't mean competent teams or people who look at statistics know that your chances of getting starter quality talent on rookie contracts is higher in the 1st round. Maybe we should look at how successful teams do their player valuations, because they're winning back to back seasons and counting, and well, here's to year 6 of losing in row under Tepper. 3 wins so far this year. 50% improvement. Go team.
