My eye test tells me he can’t connect on a deep ball, and if it weren’t for the EXTRAORDINARY talent we have at WR I wonder if he would even start here

You're right. He's been way off several times deep. I also think its fair to see how accurate he is when the pocket isn't immediately imploding though.

So let me see if I get this right...

The Panthers were doing alright...going toe-to-toe on the road in a hostile environment and were leading at the half, albeit by one point.

Then the dreaded 2nd Half happens and the 3rd Quarter was when sh*t fell apart.

We tried coming back(and got some good momentum) but weren't able to force that one big 3-and-out to get the ball back.

Sam had 2 INTs which is obviously NOT good, as we said that any Turnovers to this team(or any team that's a good team) would come back to bite us and it did unfortunately.

BUT....to Sam's credit, he kept on battling and ended up scoring just as many TDs(FOUR) as Dak did, albeit 2 of the Passing variety and 2 more of the Rushing Variety.

It wasn't, to quote Sam's vernacular, an "Ideal" performance but it definitely wasn't a 2020 NY Jets Sam performance either.

People here need to stop thinking that just 'cause he threw INTs, that we're gonna have NY Jets Sam now.   GET A GRIP!

Oh and the Cowboys fans can go eat a bag of dicks, mainly Dak's.

On to the Eagles!

P.S. And yes.  His deep ball accuracy needs to improve.   I hope he and the coaching staff STRESS THIS during this coming week.    He's got to connect with Robby.

That’s my point, as soon as things don’t go well they fold. Darnold currently is on a talented team with good coaching were till today hasn’t even trailed a second of a quarter.

And since you like using garbage time numbers, you do know Goff numbers are better than Darnold’s?

Todays game was basically a carbon copy of last year with Teddy, bad o-line, bad defense and no Mccaffrey. Neither Teddy nor Sam are the type of QBs to carry you out of holes.

What QB doesn't. .. What QB wins with bad coaching bad defense bad Oline and no weapons??

Show me a single QB that does not have a couple pass attempts that they wish they had back each game. If not for the terrible ref call which wiped out a fumble recovery, and resulted in a TD for the Cowboys, we are in this game. What really separated this game was the play of our O line. They are the glaring weakness on the team. Even with all the injuries on defense, we still show more promise than this garbage line that’s only missing….elf.

I know right? I’m literally watching Big Ben overthrew JuJu from a clean pocket as I read this. Underthrown is an INT, so it’s either overthrown or perfect. When QBs are constantly getting pressured overthrows are pretty common. They are rushed while avoiding the INT.

Lol I’ve been I’ve been posting here when we were trotting out David fuging Carr and Vinny T. Go fug yourself.

You bring up cam who has never had a oline as bad in his entire career here and more excuses than stars in the sky but Darnold is the issue…you’re telling on yourself

He had another dreadful 3rd qtr and the turnovers came at a bad time.

I think it's olay for fans to accept reality.

Ppl put a microscope on the team they watch and block what other teams are doing.. Every QB has overthrows underthrows and bad TO.. The good QB limit them.. But no QB looks good or great being hit 11x sacked 5 and running most of the game.. none

So Darnold needs great pass protection,  all-pro RB, a great WR core and good coaching lol. And a great a defense

Real franchise QBs can over come at least not having a few of those things

The guy in your avy.

sorry, couldn’t resist

Love the guy in my Avy..

But reality is he had a great defense that forced TO.. And even as great as he was he didn't look good when being hit all game..

Example .  Monday night game vs Philly 2016 or 2014.. Or Monday night game vs the Giants..

That is reality

Sam is who he is at this point.

And you are who you are at this point.    Go root for the Broncos.

301 yards today. 4 touchdowns total (2 passing, 2 rushing), 2 ints, 85.0 rating.

Those numbers do not look like 2020 NY Jets Sam Darnold.

And he got those numbers behind this subpar O-Line, too.

He's making Chicken Salad out of Chicken Poo basically.

And quite frankly, I wonder if we would've lost this game even with McCaffrey healthy?

'Cause our Defense was not all that good in the 3rd (allowing 20 points in one quarter has to infuriate Snow and everyone on that D-Line).
