Yeah I’ve only had the gummies and the tinctures. I’m not a heavy user but the 3chi is my go to whenever.

i used vape pens and always assumed the same thing, they're just vape pens with a pot leaf icon on them, there's nothing to indicate it's legal d8. so i just kept it in my house and didn't travel with it, easier than explaining "actually it's legal" to a cop who doesn't want to hear it

Check your local stores. I buy online because it's cheaper, but I look around locally (trying to find Delta 9 Hemp Water). I got a peanut butter cup that worked quite well, but kinda pricey.

i'm surprised so many of you guys use d8 edibles, i've always heard they are not a pleasant experience so i haven't tried them

You definitely don't want to run into the wrong cop. A ridiculous percentage of D8 products end up testing with illegal concentrations of D9.

I'm curious as to what was " unpleasant"  about the experience that you heard?  From what I read the 8 has more of a mellow vibe associated with it than the 9 and seems that way to me as well - otoh maybe I am just feeling my expectations.

basically when i described how i didn't get high from the vape and just had muscle tension, somebody said that's what they felt on the gummies but much worse. there are also plenty of warning videos on youtube if you search out delta 8 edibles, but my impression from those is most often that they're not from a credible source, they're using shitty gas station bought stuff and taking way too much.

there are also plenty of resources about people who have wonderful experiences, so the best thing to do is try it yourself but in a very moderate amount to test your body's reaction first. i think people like me who physiologically just don't mesh with it are more rare.

You can get the spins if you take too much but I just feel relaxed and play guitar or watch movies. Always good to take less than you think and see how you feel. Stuff hits people differently. Like I said before I’m not a heavy user so I have basically zero tolerance. It’s like maybe once or twice a month or I might skip several months.

Edibles are just a different ballgame. Takes longer to kick in and the effect is much stronger. There's also no way to walk yourself into the level you want. Once you strap in for the ride you're in for the ride. Where as with smoking, vaping, whatever the effects are much more immediate and you can better dose yourself.
