Craigslist

Sorry for the bump, but I never listed my TV I mentioned in this thread...

I am needing to get rid of it now though, and am wondering about Craigslist...

I've never sold anything there and don't really feel too comfortable opening up the door for strangers to come in and check it out... How can I go about selling this thing (it's pretty damn bulky) without the hassle of people wanting to test it out?

We're trying to clean out some junk for the nursery, and this is the last big thing we need to get rid of... Should I just go pawn it?

Try listing it "as is"... just probably won't get as much for it. I sold an HP plotter at work like this... I just listed the issues it had and sold it to $100 to some college kid. It was a $4000 plotter when new, but the guy wanted $900 to fix it and he wouldn't guarantee that his fix would work...

So I just said that in the ad and sold it "as is" and it was gone in less than a week.
