With CMC returning in 2 weeks, it would be dumb. Mack wants playing time. Not to sit behind CMC and split the remaining 5 carries with Freeman and Hubbard.

Personally I don't think we need to bring in another RB.  Hubbard looked the part last game when given the chance (over 5 ypc) and Freeman backs him up, who also had a few good runs.  CMC will only be out a game or 2.  Just hold the fort and lets see what the rookie's got in a featured role.

He won't want to come here, they're working out a trade to get him playing time.

If CMC was a Horn situation and basically done for the year, it would be different, but he's looking to get away from a situation where the starter gets the bulk of the work, and CMC gets even more work than Taylor does in Indy.

CMC is only out likely for two weeks.  We should keep repping Chubba to see what he develops into.    That's the whole point of drafting him.

They needed to float this idea out when the Ravens were looking everywhere for a RB. He would have seemingly been a good fit there in a power run scheme. Not so much here I'm afraid. Talented player but not a great fit.
