Let's say we somehow manage a winning record...

As a fan, I can't hate Fox, because of what he has done for the organization. But he does have flaws, mainly his over-loyalty to some players and his overall stubborness to change. I'm just hoping that if he does get another year, that this current season has opened his eyes.

Definitely wouldn't surprise me if he gets one more chance.

Fox is going no where, Richardson loves him that I do know for a fact. Quite frankly Fox should not go anywhere. Everyone talks about how he is losing the team and how players are losing faith in him, but at the end of the day it is not like that at all. Smith speaks his mind but he hasnt blown up or demanded a trade, he has even gone as far as saying that he will honor his contract through 2012. Peppers was not happy here but has never said a word during the season, he waited until his contract ended to ask out.

In a recent interview Delhomme said to Jay Glazer that Fox is the ultimate motivator, so no one knows what is going on behind the scenes. Thomas Davis just stated he wanted to end his career here, and I have never seen two people player split a position and complain as little as Stewart and DeAngelo. At the end of they day I think the players respect Fox more then people on this board tend to believe.

Unless we somehow lose the rest of our games this season, Fox is staying. So are both of the coordinators. I have no problem with it, we have a better coaching staff than most fans acknowledge. The big thing is that we NEED to address the QB situation in the offseason. We will keep Delhomme, but we need to trade for or draft a QB for the future.

Do the injuries and tough schedule buy Foxy another year in JR's eyes? And do the fans still have Fox's picture on their dartboards and toilet bowls or do we ease off a bit?

Nope every team has injuries and he is not down a QB or anything major. Its Playoffs or bust for Fox. Fox has def rode the injury bus to another season for way too long.

People who call for Fox's head don't realize that it would be far easier for us to end up like St. Louis or Kansas City than New England when grabbing a new coach.

Those coaches inherited little to no talent at all. It has nothing to do with how good or bad of a coach they are. Fox has plenty of talent on this team but doesnt know how to use it. No comparison!
